I’ve been cross stitching and embroidering for 30 years and rarely buy kits, but this one was beautiful, and I hadn’t done blackwork for a very long time. I decided to gift myself the full kit for my birthday, and I’m not at all disappointed. The thread is DMC, the Aida cloth is thick and strong, and the charts are easy to read and detailed. It took a while to get to Texas, which I expected, but it shipped out quickly. I would consider this an intermediate pattern as far as difficulty, and it’s very fun to work on. I’ll be back to buy the owl after I finish this one! Thank you. Stacey |

Title:Would be 5-stars but for wrong color red included The company missed a 5-star rating because the kit included ORANGE (DMC 310) thread instead of RED. A quick check on the official Welsh Flag colors site (https://www.flagcolorcodes.com/wales) revealed RED (DMC 321) as the correct color, which I then purchased. Chose to use 3, instead of 2 thread strands as piece was a gift & being professionally framed; and looks exquisite! Overall the kit was superb, with clear directions and an outstanding grid. Title: Great colours & design I’m currently stitching this pattern, and the colours are great. The only minor issue I have is that the pattern leaflet is in colour and is fairly small - I’ve had to copy on my printer, enlarge it and change to black & white (lightening it so I can distinguish the patterns).
